As one of the South East’s most well-established shed companies, we receive many requests for bespoke garden buildings, specifically designed to meet the needs of our customers. Among the most popular requests are garden offices.
We have customers across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex – from Crawley, Edenbridge, and Reigate to Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, and beyond – asking us to create the perfect garden office for them. For some it’s a place from which to run their home business, for others it’s somewhere quiet to handle their general household admin. Whatever the reason, a garden office is a charming and peaceful substitute for the traditional home office.
Garden office buildings & sheds
Our Garden office buildings are made from C24 structurally graded 45x95mm framework (vacuum pressure treated) with a breather membrane applied before cladding the exterior of the building with 20mm Redwood Tongue & Grove Ship lap (vacuum pressure treated) Every office can be modified /altered to any specific requirements needed, work benches, shelving or unusual or irregular footprints /sizes welcome. We have an extensive range of joinery made windows and doors available which are glazed as standard with 6.4mm laminated safety glass. The units are stripped down and hand painted inside and out with 2 coats of your preferred colour or a clear oil based stain to ensure they are protected from the elements.
We also offer A-Rated double glazed units as an alternative which are 6/4/6mm (4mm of cavity argon filled) to give the ultimate in insulating properties, or you can opt for UPVC double glazed window and door units. The insulation we use is 50mm Actis Hybris Insulation, HYBRIS is an honeycomb insulation which ensures winter and summer thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and air tightness of buildings. Its high thermal performance is certified by LABC. We then ply line the interior of the buildings with 12mm hardwood ply produced in accordance with and conforming to EN 636-2, EN314-2.
